Ann Brashares is best known for writing The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.. A series of books that teach you about the complications in life, friendship, and family. They are a very heartwarming series, and each girl is very easily relatable to real girls in society.

Another book that I feel is wonderful to read by her is The Last Summer (of You & Me), this book is for young adults probably more for those getting ready to leave high school behind. It's about two sisters who spend every summer at there parents beach house, both are different personality wise. When their childhood friend Paul return's after being gone for the past 3 years, the girls and him are thrust into new changes and events that bring them into the adult world.
