Sorry trying to play catch up with blogs....
So I googled "Childrens LIterature Authors" and found tons of different geners and types of authors from Beatrix Potter to J.K. Rowling. I love Beatrix Potter and many of the names that came up, even as an adult, I enjoy reading the Harry Potter Books and other books.
These are a few of the authors I enjoy reading and visitng there websites...
My twelve year old daughter reads Rick Riordan. She started ... oh ..three or four years ago with the Percy Jackson adventures. He lives here in San Antonio; he visited her school a few years back and she was so excited to get her "Lightning Thief" book autographed. She's on "39 clues" now. This series is a great interactive mystery.
ReplyDeleteHaha yeah I like that series to and even though Im an adult I love reading them and playing the games I encourage my 15 yr old sister to play, but she's at that age where its to childish..
